Any music site is incomplete without songs of this man. Mohammad Rafi, a true legend of Hindi Film Industry.  He is regarded as one of the greatest playback singers of India. He kept the world captivated with his versatile singing for four decades.

Three interesting things about him

•                  In USA his voice was researched to know the reasons for its melodiousness.
•   In UK he was more popular than our film stars of that era.
•     In Pakistan he was more popular than the then President of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.    

He was awarded National Award and 6 Film fare Awards. In 1967, he was honoured with the Padma Shri awarded by the Government of India. Rafi has sung 7,516 Hindi film songs, 112 non-Hindi film songs, and 328 private (non-film) songs from 1945 to 1980. His singing career spanned about 35 years, and his songs ranged from classical numbers to patriotic songs, sad lamentations to highly romantic numbers, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans. He sung in 15 different languages, including English and Persian.

Rafi Saab, is indeed the best singer of all times. Today, 34 years after his death, he lives on eternally. His songs today are just as popular as they were during his lifetime. His last song was “tu kahi aas paas hai” from the film Aas Paas.

Despite achieving all name & fame, tasting huge success and being on the top, he never let the success go to his head. He remained a down to earth man throughout his life. He was from a humble background, but rose to the top because of his sincerity, devotion, hard work & dedication.

America is the only Super Power, best in virtually  everything. Russia is best in Military. Germany is best in Automobiles. Japan is best in Electronics. Switzerland is best in Chocolates, Banking & Watches. Brazil is best in Football. Cuba is best in Boxing. South Africa is Famous for its Diamonds. China has no competition in Copying.

7. Brazil is 2.6 times the size of India, but is less Populous than U.P. (Brazil is 5^th largest country)

 9. Indian Railways carries more passengers per day than  the Total Population of Australia.

10. We add 1 Australia every year in our population.

11.  Africa (the entire Continent) + Australia (the entire Continent) + Canada put together are less populous than India alone.

There are 248 Countries/ Territories on this earth but only 11 have population of more than 10 cores as on

today i.e. 11.07.14, but India alone has 5 States with a population more than 10 cores.

It seems that We only the INDIANS are living & enjoying the life happily.

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them.'

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.' And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5 Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, and hobbies, whatever.

Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9 Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
