1. Malala Yousafzai born on 12 July 1997, is
a Pakistani female education activist, who became the only child and youngest ever
Nobel Prize recipient.
2. She defied the Taliban
in Pakistan and demanded that girls be allowed to receive education. She was
shot in the head by Taliban gunmen on October 9, 2012, but survived.
3. She began campaigning for girls’ education at the age of 11.
She is known mainly for human rights advocacy for education and for women in
her native Swat Valley in northwest Pakistan.
4. She attended a school
that her father had founded. After the Taliban began attacking girls' schools
in Swat, Malala gave a speech in Peshawar, Pakistan, in September 2008. The
title of her talk was, "How dare the Taliban take away my basic right to
education?"
5. Her autobiography, “I
Am Malala”, a best seller, was released in October 2013.
6. She addressed the UN on
her 16th birthday in 2013.
7. Most famous quote by
her, “One child, one teacher, one pen and one book can change the World.”
8. She won the Noble Prize
exactly after two years of attack on her.
9. She has bagged more
International Awards than her age.
10. Her achievement is unparalleled and unequaled. Girls and
boys of the world should take lead from her struggle and commitment.

of this man. Mohammad Rafi, a true legend of Hindi Film Industry. He is regarded as one of the greatest
playback singers of India. He kept the world captivated with his versatile
singing for four decades.
Three interesting things about him
- In USA his voice was researched to know the reasons for its melodiousness.
- In UK he was more popular than our film stars of that era.
- In Pakistan he was more popular than the then President of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
He was awarded National Award and 6 Film fare Awards. In 1967, he was honoured with the Padma Shri awarded by the Government of India. Rafi has sung 7,516 Hindi film songs, 112 non-Hindi film songs, and 328 private (non-film) songs from 1945 to 1980. His singing career spanned about 35 years, and his songs ranged from classical numbers to patriotic songs, sad lamentations to highly romantic numbers, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans. He sung in 15 different languages, including English and Persian.
Rafi Saab, is indeed the best singer of all
times. Today, 34 years after his death, he lives on eternally. His songs today
are just as popular as they were during his lifetime. His last song was “tu kahi aas paas hai” from the
film Aas Paas.
Despite achieving all name & fame,
tasting huge success and being on the top, he never let the success go to his
head. He remained a down to earth man throughout his life. He was from a humble
background, but rose to the top
because of his sincerity, devotion, hard work & dedication.

5. Kerala & Canada have equal Population, But in size 1Canada = 260 Keralas (Canada is 2nd Largest country & more than 3 times Bigger than India)
6.UP + Bihar > USA, the 3rd most populous country (USA is the 4th largest country and thrice the size of India)
7. Brazil is 2.6 times the size of India, but is less Populous than U.P. (Brazil is 5th largest country)
8. Australia is 2.4 times bigger than India, but our Haryana is more Populous than entire Australia. 1Australia = 170 Haryanas
(Australia is 6th largest country)
9. Indian Railways carries more passengers per day than the Total Population of Australia.
10. We add 1 Australia every year in our population.
11. Africa (the entire Continent) + Australia (the entire Continent) + Canada put together are less
populous than India alone.
There are 248 Countries/ Territories on this earth but only 11 have population of more than 10 cores as on
today i.e. 11.07.14, but India alone has 5 States with a population more than 10 cores.
It seems that We only the INDIANS are living & enjoying the life happily.
